The Tomb Raider is a series which in addition includes video games comics, short films (mostly cartoons), novels and theme parks which are centered around a virtual character who represents a British archaeologist named Lara Croft (Lara Croft). The first six games were originally developed by the company Core Design and the next five from Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Square Enix. 

 

The Tomb Raider was the background to the creation of two major motion pictures starring the famous actress Angelina Jolie in which she pretends to Lara Croft. The films were shown in cinemas household names Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001 and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life in 2003. The first film was a huge commercial success. Up to and including June 2010 held the title of the film that could successfully adapt a virtual character in a movie with the largest collections worldwide. 

 

Known for her femininity, the protagonist of the game immediately after the issuance of the original Tomb Raider in 1996 was a profitable series of related media and Lara turned into a large industry standard video games. The Lara Croft is considered by many to be a sex symbol that quickly caught the industry's attention on a global scale.  It is the most recognizable form of a video game and owns six record in the Guinness book.
